Cast Spotlights: Matt Prokop (Dwayne Michaels)
Matt Prokop is a 21-year-old actor from Victoria Texas. He moved to Los Angeles at the age of 16 to pursue an acting career. In Struck By Lightning, he plays Dwayne Michaels, a student who “enjoys his supplements.”
In 2007, Prokop started landing guest appearances in hit television shows such as Hannah Montana and The Office. In 2008, he played Jimmie “The Rocket” Zara in the popular Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical 3 alongside stars such as Zac Efron. Over the next couple years, he made several more television appearances. This included starring in another Disney Channel Original Movie, Geek Charming (2011) as Josh Rosen, this time alongside real-life girlfriend Sarah Hyland. Prokop and Hyland also shared the screen in the film Conception (2011) and on an episode of her hit series Modern Family (2012), and will do so yet again in Struck By Lightning (2012). You can also catch Prokop later this year as Tommy in April Apocalypse (2012).

Cast Spotlights: Graham Rogers (Scott Thomas)
Graham Rogers is an actor from West Chester, Pennsylvania. In Struck By Lightning, he plays the flamboyant Scott Thomas of Clover High’s drama department.
Rogers moved to Los Angeles when he was eighteen. Once in LA, he began pursuing acting and taking acting classes. He is currently best known for delivering the line “Can I get a hot tub?” in a popular State Farm commercial. He also had a small role in 1313: Haunted Frat (2011) and a guest appearance on Memphis Beat (2011).
This year, in addition to his role in Struck By Lightning, Rogers will co-star in the film Long Time Gone (2012). He has also been cast as Danny Matheson in the NBC drama Revolution (2012), which is created by J.J. Abrams and directed by Jon Favreau. A trailer-style promo for the show was recently released and it is set to air this fall.

Cast Spotlights: Allie Grant (Remy Baker)
Allie Grant is an 18-year-old actress from Tulepo, Mississippi who currently lives in Los Angeles. In Struck By Lightning, she plays the high-strung and ambitious student body president, Remy Baker.
Grant has wanted to act for as long as she can remember, and by the age of 10 she landed roles in the Disney Channel shows That’s So Raven (2005) and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (2006 - 2007). She is best known for her role as Isabelle Hodes in the Showtime television series Weeds (2005 - 2009), a role which earned her two SAG nominations for “Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series.” Her role in Weeds was also the first time she worked with Brian Dannelly, the director of Struck By Lightning, who cast her in the show. Grant also appeared in the films The Fanboys (2009) and The Runaways (2010).
In 2011, Grant graduated as the valedictorian of her high school class and attended Harvard University’s Summer Program. She then began filming the ABC series Suburgatory (2011-) in which she co-stars, playing Lisa Shay. In May 2012, the show was renewed for a second season which will begin airing in this fall, as will the film Struck By Lightning.

Cast Spotlights: Sarah Hyland (Claire Mathews)
Sarah Hyland is a 21-year-old actress from New York City, where she attended the Professional Performing Arts School. In Struck By Lightning, she plays the captain of the cheerleading team, elected student council president, and queen bitch Claire Mathews.
Hyland has been acting since the age of five, when she had her first role as Howard Stern’s daughter Private Parts. Since then, she has appeared in a number of films and television series, including Annie, All My Children, Law & Order, Lipstick Jungle, and Conception. In 2006, she appeared on Broadway in Grey Gardens the Musical. Last year, Hyland also starred as Dylan Schoenfield in the Disney Channel Original Movie Geek Charming.
Hyland is best known for her role as Haley Dunphy on the Golden Globe winning TV series Modern Family, for which she and the rest of the cast won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series. Catch her later this year in Struck By Lightning, as well as the upcoming films Gay Dude (2012) and April Apocalypse (2012).
